1. Overview

At HayaPrep ("Company," "we," "us," or "our"), we are committed to providing high-quality educational content and an exceptional learning experience for all of our students. We understand that purchasing an online course is a significant investment in your education, and we want you to feel confident and satisfied with your purchase.

This Refund Policy ("Policy") outlines the terms and conditions under which refunds may be granted for courses and services purchased through the HayaPrep platform ("Service" or "Platform"). By making a purchase on our Platform, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to the terms of this Refund Policy. This Policy is incorporated into and forms part of our Terms of Service.

We encourage all prospective students to carefully review course descriptions, preview any available free content, and consider their commitment before making a purchase. Our goal is to ensure that every student who enrolls in a HayaPrep course has a clear understanding of what the course offers and can make an informed purchasing decision.

Important Notice Due to the digital nature of our products, all sales are generally considered final once course content has been accessed. However, we do offer refunds under certain qualifying circumstances as outlined below. Please read this entire Policy carefully to understand your rights and options.

2. Eligibility for Refunds

We offer refunds under the following specific circumstances. To be eligible for a refund, you must meet all of the conditions described in the applicable category below:

2.1 Thirty-Day Satisfaction Guarantee

HayaPrep offers a limited thirty (30) calendar day satisfaction guarantee from the date of purchase. If you are not satisfied with your course for any reason, you may request a full refund within thirty (30) calendar days of your original purchase date, provided that the following conditions are met:

  • Content Access Limitation: You have not accessed, viewed, or streamed more than twenty percent (20%) of the total course content (measured by number of lessons completed or video content viewed). If you have accessed more than 20% of the course content, you are no longer eligible for a refund under this guarantee.
  • Single Refund Per Course: The thirty-day satisfaction guarantee may only be used once per course. If you purchase the same course again after receiving a refund, you will not be eligible for a second refund on that course.
  • No Abuse: The refund request must be made in good faith. Repeated, systematic, or fraudulent refund requests across multiple courses or accounts will be investigated and may result in denial of the refund and/or termination of your account.
Example — Eligible for Refund You purchased the SAT Math Basics course on March 1st. By March 20th, you have only watched 3 out of 27 lessons (approximately 11% of the course). You decide the course is not what you expected. Since it is within 30 days and you've viewed less than 20% of the content, you are eligible for a full refund.
Example — Not Eligible for Refund You purchased the SAT Math Basics course on March 1st. By April 15th, you have watched 15 out of 27 lessons (approximately 56% of the course). Even though you are dissatisfied, you have exceeded both the 30-day window and the 20% content access threshold. You are not eligible for a refund.

2.2 Technical Issues

If you experience persistent technical issues that prevent you from accessing or using the course content, and our support team is unable to resolve these issues within a reasonable timeframe (typically five (5) business days from the date you first reported the issue), you may be eligible for a full or partial refund. To qualify for a refund due to technical issues, the following conditions must be met:

  • You must report the technical issue to our support team at support@hayaprep.com within fourteen (14) calendar days of first encountering the problem.
  • You must provide a detailed description of the issue, including the device and browser you are using, any error messages received, and screenshots or screen recordings if possible.
  • You must cooperate with our support team's troubleshooting efforts, including following any instructions provided, updating your browser or device software, clearing your cache, or trying alternative browsers as recommended.
  • The technical issue must be related to the HayaPrep platform and not caused by your internet connection, hardware, software, or other factors outside of HayaPrep's control.
  • Our support team must confirm that the issue cannot be resolved within the specified timeframe.

2.3 Duplicate Purchases

If you accidentally purchase the same course more than once, or if you are charged multiple times for a single purchase due to a payment processing error, we will promptly refund the duplicate charge(s) upon verification. To request a refund for a duplicate purchase:

  • Contact our support team within thirty (30) calendar days of the duplicate charge.
  • Provide your order confirmation number(s), payment receipt(s), and any other relevant documentation.
  • Duplicate purchase refunds will be processed within five (5) to ten (10) business days after verification.

2.4 Unauthorized Purchases

If you believe that a purchase was made on your account without your authorization (e.g., due to unauthorized access to your account or payment method), please contact us immediately at support@hayaprep.com. We will investigate the matter and, if the unauthorized purchase is confirmed, issue a full refund. You may also be required to take additional security measures, such as changing your password and reviewing your account activity.

Please note that you are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. If an unauthorized purchase was made because you shared your login information with another person, you may not be eligible for a refund.

2.5 Course Discontinuation

In the rare event that HayaPrep discontinues a course before you have had a reasonable opportunity to access and complete the course content, and no substantially equivalent replacement course is offered, you may be eligible for a prorated refund based on the percentage of the course content that was not yet available or accessible to you at the time of discontinuation.

3. Non-Refundable Circumstances

Refunds will not be granted in the following circumstances:

  • After the Refund Period: Refund requests made after the thirty (30) calendar day satisfaction guarantee period has expired, unless the request falls under one of the other qualifying categories listed in Section 2 above.
  • Excessive Content Access: If you have accessed, viewed, or streamed more than twenty percent (20%) of the total course content at the time of your refund request.
  • Change of Mind: If you simply change your mind about wanting the course after the refund eligibility period, without any qualifying technical or other issues.
  • Failure to Use: If you purchased a course and simply did not use it or forgot about it, and the refund period has elapsed. We encourage all students to begin their courses promptly after purchase.
  • Dissatisfaction with Results: HayaPrep does not guarantee specific test score improvements, academic outcomes, or college admission results. Dissatisfaction with your test performance, grades, or admission results after completing a course does not constitute grounds for a refund.
  • Third-Party Issues: Issues caused by your internet service provider, hardware, software, browser compatibility, or other factors outside of HayaPrep's control are not eligible for refunds.
  • Violation of Terms: If your account has been suspended or terminated due to a violation of our Terms of Service, you are not eligible for a refund of any fees paid.
  • Promotional or Discounted Purchases: Courses purchased at a promotional, discounted, or bundle price may be subject to different refund terms, which will be specified at the time of purchase. Free courses, trial courses, or courses included as part of a promotional offer are not eligible for monetary refunds.
  • Fraudulent Requests: Any refund request that we determine, in our sole discretion, to be fraudulent, abusive, or made in bad faith will be denied. This includes, but is not limited to, patterns of repeated purchases and refund requests, use of multiple accounts to exploit refund policies, or misrepresentation of facts in the refund request.
Please Note We track course access and progress data to determine refund eligibility. This data includes, but is not limited to, the number of lessons accessed, video playback activity, time spent on the platform, and completion percentages. This data is used solely for the purpose of evaluating refund requests and is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

4. How to Request a Refund

If you believe you are eligible for a refund under the terms of this Policy, please follow the steps below to submit your refund request:

Step 1: Contact Support

Send an email to support@hayaprep.com with the subject line "Refund Request — [Your Name]". Include your full name, the email address associated with your HayaPrep account, and the name of the course for which you are requesting a refund.

Step 2: Provide Details

In your email, clearly state the reason for your refund request and the category under which you believe you are eligible (e.g., Seven-Day Satisfaction Guarantee, Technical Issues, Duplicate Purchase, Unauthorized Purchase). Include any supporting documentation, such as order confirmation emails, payment receipts, screenshots of errors, or other relevant information.

Step 3: Verification

Our support team will review your request and verify your eligibility based on our records, including your purchase date, course access history, and any other relevant data. We may contact you for additional information if needed. Please allow up to five (5) business days for the initial review of your request.

Step 4: Decision

Once the review is complete, we will notify you of our decision via email. If your refund is approved, we will proceed with processing the refund. If your refund is denied, we will provide a clear explanation of the reasons for the denial.

Step 5: Refund Processing

Approved refunds will be processed within five (5) to ten (10) business days of approval. The refund will be issued to the original payment method used for the purchase. Please note that depending on your bank or payment provider, it may take an additional five (5) to fifteen (15) business days for the refund to appear in your account statement.

5. Refund Method and Timeline

All approved refunds will be issued using the same payment method that was used for the original purchase. We do not issue refunds via alternative payment methods, cash, check, or store credit unless otherwise specified or required by applicable law.

The estimated timeline for refund processing is as follows:

  • Review Period: Up to five (5) business days from the date we receive your complete refund request (including all required documentation).
  • Processing Period: Five (5) to ten (10) business days from the date the refund is approved.
  • Bank Processing: An additional five (5) to fifteen (15) business days for the refund to appear in your account, depending on your bank or payment provider. This timeframe is outside of HayaPrep's control.

In total, the refund process from initial request to receipt may take up to thirty (30) business days. We appreciate your patience throughout this process and will keep you informed of the status of your refund at each stage.

6. Partial Refunds

In certain circumstances, HayaPrep may, at its sole discretion, offer a partial refund instead of a full refund. Partial refunds may be considered in the following situations:

  • Partial Course Access: If you have accessed between twenty percent (20%) and fifty percent (50%) of the course content and are requesting a refund due to a qualifying technical issue that our team was unable to resolve, we may offer a partial refund proportional to the unused portion of the course.
  • Course Modifications: If significant changes are made to a course after your purchase that materially alter the course content or scope from what was originally described at the time of purchase, you may be eligible for a partial refund reflecting the difference in value.
  • Goodwill Adjustments: In exceptional circumstances, and entirely at our discretion, we may offer partial refunds or account credits as a gesture of goodwill, even if the request does not strictly meet the eligibility criteria outlined in this Policy. Such goodwill adjustments are made on a case-by-case basis and do not establish a precedent for future requests.

The amount of any partial refund will be determined by HayaPrep based on the specific circumstances of the request, including the percentage of content accessed, the nature of the issue, and any other relevant factors.

7. Chargebacks and Disputes

We strongly encourage you to contact our support team to resolve any issues or concerns before initiating a chargeback or payment dispute with your bank or credit card company. Filing a chargeback without first attempting to resolve the issue directly with HayaPrep may result in:

  • Immediate suspension or permanent termination of your HayaPrep account.
  • Loss of access to all purchased courses and content associated with your account.
  • Ineligibility for future refunds or account reinstatement.
  • Collection actions to recover any amounts owed, including chargeback fees imposed by our payment processors.

If you have filed a chargeback and wish to resolve the matter directly with us, please contact our support team immediately. We are committed to working with you to find a fair resolution and can often resolve disputes more quickly and favorably through direct communication than through the chargeback process.

We reserve the right to dispute any chargeback that we believe was filed without merit or in violation of the terms of this Policy. In such cases, we will provide all relevant documentation and evidence to the payment processor to support our position.

8. Course Bundles and Package Deals

If you purchased a bundle of courses or a package deal (multiple courses sold together at a combined price), the following refund terms apply:

  • Full Bundle Refund: If you request a refund within the thirty (30) calendar day satisfaction guarantee period and have not accessed more than twenty percent (20%) of any individual course within the bundle, you may receive a full refund for the entire bundle.
  • Partial Bundle Refund: If you have accessed more than twenty percent (20%) of one or more courses in the bundle but not all of them, we may, at our discretion, offer a partial refund for the courses that meet the refund eligibility criteria, calculated based on the individual retail price of those courses rather than the discounted bundle price.
  • No Individual Course Refunds from Bundles: We do not offer refunds for individual courses within a bundle if the bundle as a whole does not meet the refund eligibility criteria.

9. Promotional and Free Content

Courses or content that were provided free of charge, as part of a promotional offer, giveaway, scholarship, or at no cost to you are not eligible for monetary refunds, as no payment was made. If you received a discount on a course purchase, any applicable refund will be based on the actual amount you paid (the discounted price), not the original retail price of the course.

Gift purchases are subject to the same refund terms as regular purchases. Refunds for gift purchases will be issued to the original purchaser's payment method, not to the gift recipient.

10. Modifications to This Refund Policy

HayaPrep reserves the right to modify, update, or replace this Refund Policy at any time and at our sole discretion. Any changes to this Policy will be effective immediately upon posting of the updated Policy on this page. We will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page to reflect the date of the most recent revision.

Changes to this Policy will not apply retroactively to purchases made before the effective date of the updated Policy. If you made a purchase before a change to this Policy, the version of the Policy that was in effect at the time of your purchase will apply to your refund request.

We encourage you to review this Refund Policy periodically to stay informed of any changes. Your continued use of the Service and any purchases made after the posting of changes to this Policy constitute your acceptance of those changes.

11. Governing Law

This Refund Policy shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which HayaPrep operates, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under or in connection with this Policy shall be resolved in accordance with the dispute resolution provisions set forth in our Terms of Service.
